Conservative parliamentary candidate for Cambridge, Dr John Hayward, celebrated the first day of operation for Cambridge’s new station with the former Conservative Leader of Cambridgeshire County Councillor, Nick Clarke, whose initiative made the project a reality.
Conservative candidate for Cambridge City, John Hayward, was invited to visit Cambridge Mosque for Friday Prayers. John spoke to local residents and worshippers at the Abu Bakr Masjid about the local community and what he, as Conservative candidate for Cambridge, will do for them.
John's recent work has been as Manager of the national Forum that enables Conservative Party members to help shape government policy. In this role, he enjoys direct contact with George Freeman, the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Policy Board, and Government Ministers.
John Hayward has met the region's newly-elected Mayor, James Palmer. They discussed local Conservatives' infrastructure plans, including a twenty-first century solution to the traffic gridlock that blights our beautiful city.
