John Hayward has met the region's newly-elected Mayor, James Palmer. They discussed local Conservatives' infrastructure plans, including a twenty-first century solution to the traffic gridlock that blights our beautiful city.
Working with central government, they will explore the option of an underground metro system in Cambridge, with a light railway out into Cambridgeshire. This project will protect our internationally renowned University and business centre—and keep Cambridge as the destination of choice for technology companies across the world.
