Notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting of the Cambridge City Conservative Association, to be held on Friday 8 March in the Wood-Legh Room at Lucy Cavendish College, at Lady Margaret Rd, Cambridge CB3 0BU, at 7:00pm for a 7:15pm start.
Along with the usual agenda items such as the election of officers for the coming year, the meeting will consider amendments to the association's rules to provide for the election to the Association's Executive Council of representatives for groups of wards.
This meeting is open to all members of the association but to put yourself forward for election you must have been a member of at least 3 months' standing.
Nominations for all elected positions must be delivered to the association's offices at least seven clear days prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting, that is, by midnight on Thursday 28 February. All nominations need to be proposed and seconded by members and signed by the candidate indicating his or her willingness to accept the stated office, and make take the form of a simple written sentence accompanied by names and signatures. Two examples are provided at the bottom of this web page. If sent by post, a nomination should be addressed to "The President, Cambridge City Conservative Association, 20 Station Road, CB1 2JD".

- Deputy Chairman (Policy & Campaigning)
- Deputy Chairman (Membership & Fundraising)
- Treasurer
- Vice Chairman (Canvassing)
- Vice Chairman (Communications)
- Vice Chairman (Fundraising)
- Vice Chairman (Recruitment)
- Vice Chairman (Young Conservatives)
- North Area Representative
- East Area Representative
- South Area Representative
- West/Central Area Representative
If the amendments mentioned above do not pass, then elections will not be held for the four area representatives. Those putting themselves forward to be Vice Chairmen should be prepared to work closely with the appropriate Deputy Chairman, as the roles somewhat overlap.
